Take advantage of the photovoltaic subsidy from the Green for Households project!

Don't miss this opportunity and secure financial support for the installation of photovoltaic panels.

The Green for Households project supports the installation of devices using renewable energy sources. It is planned for the years 2023 to 2029, with 151.6 million euros allocated for subsidies for households.

The calculation of the subsidy amount depends on 3 factors:

INSTALLATION LOCATION
Municipalities in locations with poor air quality are entitled to the highest level of subsidy.
INSTALLED SYSTEM SIZE
Maximum support is limited to photovoltaic systems up to 7 kW.
ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION FOR THE LAST CALENDAR YEAR
For the maximum possible subsidy, your consumption must be more than 7,000 kW.

1. Find out if you are an eligible applicant

  • Persons eligible to receive the contribution are:

    • A natural person who owns a family home
    • Natural persons who are sole owners of a family home
    • Natural persons who are joint owners and have the right to decide on a common matter based on the majority of their share
  • The property must be registered in the Real Estate Cadastre of the Slovak Republic as

    • Family house
    • Family house under construction
    • or other building used for family housing and the applicant has permanent residence there

2. Find out what allowance you can get

❗When you contact us, it is important that you have your annual electricity consumption information ready.

Based on this, we can quickly confirm how much subsidy you can receive. When pricing the system, price is the main motivating reason to install a photovoltaic power plant now.

  • Subsidy of up to €1,500

If your consumption is less than 3000 kW

Photovoltaic subsidies for single-family homes are €500/kWp of installed photovoltaic panel capacity. The maximum subsidized capacity for which you can receive a contribution if your consumption is less than 3,000 kW is limited to 3 kWp.

  • Subsidy of up to €3,500

If your consumption is higher than 3000 kW

If electricity consumption is proven to be higher than 3,000 kW/year, the subsidy is also increased depending on the amount of consumption, namely by 500 euros for every 1,000 kW of electricity consumption.

    Let's give an example:
If you want to install 18 x 425 Wp panels (7.65 kWp) on your roof and your consumption last year was:

    • 4,000 kW/year = subsidy €2,000
    • 5,000 kW/year = subsidy €2,500
    • 6,000 kW/year = subsidy €3,000
    • 7,000 kW/year and more = subsidy €3,500

The maximum subsidy amount of €3,500 is conditional on household consumption of more than 7,000 kW/year and the installed capacity of the photovoltaic system of 7 kWp or more.

  • Subsidy of up to €4,025

Households that are located in an air quality management area (ORKO area), or that have demonstrably secured a less emission-intensive heating method than they had before (replace an electric boiler with a newer model, replace a gas boiler with a heat pump, remove an old wood-burning boiler, old fireplace, or other), will be granted a 15% discount on the basic rate when providing support.

With a 15% surcharge on the basic rate, the subsidy can be up to €575/kWp, which increases the maximum possible subsidy for a household to €4,025.

Practical examples

  • Mr. Novák lives in Bratislava in Čunovo...

Last year, his household consumed 14,750 kWh of electricity. He decided to install 16 photovoltaic panels, each with an output of 585 Wp, which gives a total of 9.36 kW.

Since the maximum support is limited to systems up to 7 kW, his subsidy will be 7 x 500 euros, which amounts to 3,500 euros . This way he can save significantly on the cost of installing the system.

  • Mrs. Kováčová lives in Veľká Ida near Košice...

which is an area with limited air quality (ORKO). Last year, her household consumed 7,350 kWh of electricity. She decided to install 18 photovoltaic panels, each with an output of 425 Wp, which gives a total of 7.65 kW.

Due to the reduced air quality , her subsidy will be 7 x 575 euros, which amounts to 4,025 euros . This way, she can use the financial support and contribute to improving the environment.

Determining air quality in specific regions

Cities and municipalities with a high risk of poor air quality, referred to as ORKO, are entitled to the highest possible level of subsidy (level 3).

Municipalities in locations with poor air quality are entitled to €575 per kW of installed DC photovoltaic power. (Number of panels times panel power). A maximum of 7 kW can be supported, so the maximum subsidy amount in this case is €4,025. In other areas, the subsidy is €500 per kW.

Subsidy immediately deducted from the total price of the system!

✅ A big advantage for customers who choose photovoltaics from Antik is that they do not have to pay the required subsidy amount.

This amount is directly deducted from the total price of the system, meaning immediate savings for you.

Project description Green for households

Owners of family and apartment buildings in all regions of Slovakia, including the Bratislava Self-Governing Region, can once again apply for support in the form of a voucher for the installation of photovoltaic panels.

Devices installed after October 30, 2023 will be supported. Registration for voucher applications is open, an updated information system for submitting applications, which takes into account the current conditions of support, was made available on April 29, 2024.

The Green for Households project is part of the Slovakia Programme in measure 2.2.3, aimed at supporting the use of renewable energy sources in households. The aim of the project is to increase the share of renewable energy use in households and the related reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

What should be considered before submitting an application?

The family home must not be owned or co-owned by a legal entity.
The house must not be part of the business assets of any business entity
Installation may only be performed by an authorized contractor with a valid contract with SIEA (ANTIK complies)
The device must be part of the list of authorized devices (ANTIK complies)
