Home energy storage for photovoltaics
ANTIK Energy Storage SES A-Series (A8–A28, 53 Ah) is a high-voltage, stackable home energy storage designed for photovoltaic power plants up to 10 kW . Thanks to its integrated battery management (BMS), robust construction and IP54 protection, it provides safe and efficient storage with a long life cycle. The clear front display facilitates operation and an overview of the status, currents and energy flows. The system is ready for direct integration with inverters (verified compatibility with GoodWe ) and allows you to optimize the use of the generated energy.
- Designed for residential PV systems up to 10 kW
- Capacity range from A08 to A28 (max. 28 kWh)
- High-voltage architecture for higher system efficiency
- Integrated BMS and protection against overload, overheating, short circuit
- IP54 protection for indoor and protected outdoor installation
Modular architecture and scaling
The storage system is designed as a modular, stackable assembly. Each device consists of a control and communication module , a set of battery modules , and a base . The individual modules are stacked “into stacks”, which simplifies capacity expansion and service. Modularity allows you to start with a smaller configuration and later expand it without interfering with the inverter or PV array.
- Easy expansion from A08 → A12 → … → A28 (28 kWh)
- Quick assembly thanks to the kit (control + modules + base)
- Standardized power connectors up to 50 A
- Main battery disconnect switch for safe servicing
- Mechanically stable "floor-by-floor" storage of modules
Module design and layout
The stackable assembly has a control/communication module with an OLED panel on the top deck ; the side panels of this control module carry the start button , ± power connectors (up to 50 A) and an RJ45 communication port . On the opposite side of the control module is the main battery power disconnect switch .
Below it, three battery modules with LFP cells are stored in frame cassettes; on their fronts there are service/cover elements and vertical guide rails ensure mechanical fixation of the entire assembly on the base with anti-vibration feet.
Control, monitoring and connectivity
The front OLED panel with touch buttons and LED power indication provides an overview of the charge status, energy flows and instant power. The battery communicates via home Wi-Fi with the ANTIK Cloud , which allows remote monitoring and diagnostics down to the cell level . On the side panel there is an RJ45 communication port and a backlit start button .
- Graphic OLED display + touch control (OK/arrows)
- ANTIK Cloud: remote diagnostics and service
- RJ45 communication connector, internal CAN communication
- Backlit start button, status LEDs
- Proven compatibility with GoodWe inverters
Electrical parameters (model A20)
The A20 configuration brings even higher power and capacity for residential PV systems. The high-voltage block (384 V) reduces currents and thus losses in the DC part. The continuous charging and discharging power of 9.6 kW can handle even significant domestic peaks, while the BMS supervises cell balancing and safe operating limits. The assembly consists of 5 battery modules , which facilitates installation and service.
- Usable energy: 20.3 kWh
- Nominal capacity: 53 Ah
- Rated voltage: 384 V
- Continuous charging/discharging power: 9.6 kW/9.6 kW
- Number of modules: 5 (A20 configuration)
BMS, cell chemistry and safety
The system uses LFP (LiFePO₄) cells, which offer high thermal stability and safety. The integrated BMS controls charge/discharge, balances cells and continuously monitors parameters for a long service life of up to 6000 cycles . Overload, overheating and short circuit protections minimize risks during operation.
- LFP chemical technology = maximum safety
- Cell life: up to 6000 cycles
- Protections: overload, overheating, short circuit, over/undervoltage of cells Intelligent control of currents and temperatures via BMS
- Optimizing lifespan and efficiency across the entire SOC range
Mechanical design, environment and installation
The A20 uses a stackable chassis with a solid construction for safe installation in a utility room or protected outdoor area. The IP54 protection protects against dust and splash water, so the unit operates reliably in typical residential conditions. The specified temperature ranges of 0–50 °C (charging) and −10–50 °C (discharging) support year-round operation. The modular concept (A20 = 5 modules) makes handling, installation and service easy.
The system meets the relevant standards for stationary lithium batteries, which simplifies design and commissioning.
- Dimensions: 650 × 350 × 920 mm
- Weight: 162 kg (A20)
- Protection: IP54
- Temperature ranges: 0–50 °C (charging) / −10–50 °C (discharging)
- Certifications: IEC 62619 / IEC 62040
